Two competitions in one night.
The Davaris originality competition.
Entrants compete by performing/demonstrating an effect of their own, it may be a new handling or a completely new effect, or a new routine for an old effect.
Presentation isn't the prime concern here, what the judges are looking for is new and original ideas so whether you're a performer or not come and have a go.
Magic of the mind
Magic of the mind covers a wide spectrum of effects, this is always a bag full of surprises.
There is some confusion as to what mentalism or magic of the mind actually is, well any effect that involves the suggestion that the effect works due to the power of someones mind is considered to be mentalism. You have up to 10 minutes to perform, so you could do just one effect of just a couple of minutes or several effects for the full 10 minutes.
So look at all the effects that you do and find one that you like and swell the number of competitors, the more the merrier.

The evening is open to all magicians whether they are members or not.
